The Issue

We work with awarding bodies, many of them carrying a Royal Charter, who either train directly or accredit the training of third parties. The outcome of the training is a formal qualification which is internationally recognised. Quality is paramount, since the training manual is the physical manifestation of the Institution – but so is security when exams and certificates are involved.

The Solution

We are fully aware of the importance of the security of exam papers and other sensitive documents. The level of security is really down to the client. This can be a simple as ensuring that the box of training materials have inside sealed envelopes with documents marked ‘Private and Confidential for the Tutor only’ – However modern digital distribution tools allow for tight control on security.

One of the advantages of providing documents digitally is the use of Digital Rights Management Software or DRM. DRM means that encrypted documents can sent electronically, password protected and with restrictions on the number of devices that can be used to view them, the amount that can be printed, copied or distributed. Interactive digital documents provides a whole new level of security.
